Developed in collaboration with Christopher Kennedy for the larger Chance Ecologies project, An Atlas of Endangered Surfaces explores and documents the disappearing landscape of Hunters Point, Queens. Including a book, video, surface samples and photographs, the project records the variability of surfaces in unplanned landscapes and contrasts them with the designed surfaces common in everyday urban settings. More about the project in this Temporary Art Review interview and on Christopher’s website.
